The drop doesn't look bad.
And the sharp turns like BTM I love!
It's mostly that backward thing.
I get queasy just thinking about it.
I'm not a fan of backwards either...but I want to try it just once for EE...then if I don't like it...I won't do it again.

Yep. oh - and I bruised my DH's hand up b/c I was holding it so tightly - that's how he knew I passed out - when my hand dropped. I don't remember the first ride - but I thought it was just a fluke thing... (dummy me) so i rode it again... I knew what to expect that time, so no crying - but I did black out. Thinking it was getting better (and being a glutton for punishment) I rode it 5 more times over then next 3 years... and proceded to black out 3 of the 5 - I can handle it now - but what's the point? i hate it - DH finally stopped trying to get me to keep going (he's a big believer of getting over your fears by facing them) But after awhile he realized it really does mess with my head - so now we have an agreement - I'll stand in line - but I get to skip the ride. (I threatened him with being maritally ignorned... permanently, if he even mentioned getting over my fear of M:S  ) LOL!...

I can't believe you rode it that many times!
You're a wild woman!

Have you ever ridden the Mummy? It wasn't bad at all - and i imagine the startled backward feeling is somewhat like that... I'm hoping it's not too bad.... either way - I'll be sure to give you an honest report - I would never want anyone to get roped into trying something based on false information... (and i know that sounded cheesy but I'm serious) :)

That I can do with no problem.
But I can't do Star Tours anymore.
I used to love it. Now it makes me dizzy and queasy.

I don't care for it... only because it doesn't really feel like a ride to me.
The motion-simulation never seemed to work.

I always feel like I'm in nothing more than a big, shaking box with a movie screen and a incompetent robot. :lookaroun

Oh my God.
That scares me so much.
Who knows what hidden things could be wrong with you that you just don't know about. Until it's too late.
It's certainly not worth it.
I know I couldn't handle M:S.

my sentiments exactly. :( so very sad... if it is similar to the training they use on real astronauts - then why doesn't every one who rides have to pass a physical? just doesn't make sense to me... and i'm not willing to risk it.

Well, in defense, I was highly disappointed with M:S due to its lack of intensity.

You've been on it?
I thought maybe it wasn't your kind of thing.
George loves its.
He can ride it over and over.

You rode M:S and you haven't ridden Tower? no kidding? and M:S wasn't intense enough for you? Good God Connor! Where do you get your thrills?

EDIT: don't take that the wrong way... but seriously - what would have been intense enough? :brick:

Well (I know I'm starting to sound defensive), but the maximum G-force on M:S is 2.0, where as Astronauts are tested up to 12.5 G. In comparison, a space launch is 4-5 G, and most roller coasters have moments of G-force several times larger. The difference is that Mission : Space sustains that force for a longer period. But for refrence... the Gravitons at your local carnival pull a maximum of 4 sustained Gs.

It didn't live up to it's own warning signs, let alone the hype.
It could be that spinning doesn't bother me too much.

My thrill lies in planning for world domination. :lookaroun
