Yay for feeling hoity toity!!! Sounds like a great afternoon! Nice and relaxing!

It was very relaxing... and I keep looking at my nails. This was only the 3rd manicure I've ever had - the first one being my wedding, and the second my sister's wedding... it felt odd not being in a wedding after getting my nails done this time. :lookaroun :lol:

I had some gross pot roasty soup stuff my mom attempted to make. It was not very good and was extrememly fatty. :hurl:

I understand what you mean. I've only had a pedi once...and that was for my wedding and I've only had a "real" manicure a couple times. So it feels wierd when my friend is like...wanna go get a mani? :lol:

And I agree with you. My mom gets hers done every other week...and I'm just like...yeah...I have a bunch of other things I'd rather buy with that. Including a Disney trip. If she just took the money she spent yearly on that, she'd probably have enough!

I had a mani/pedi today too. I was so excited because it was only $16 for both. It wasn't anywhere near as nice as yours, but it was still nice and they even massaged my shoulders while my nails dried.

Such a sad time for you and Grant.
I had to be the "Pull the Plug" person on 3 occasions (one of them. . .my dad) and there is simply no harder decision to make. But I think that when a person reaches the end of their endurance, they let it show somehow. Letting them go is impossibly hard. . .but so is knowing that by keeping them here, you're prolonging suffering. There is such a huge difference between being alive and living. Letting go can be a very unselfish act.
