Yeah - having a toddler is like a natural alarm clock. Everything shifts back a couple hours when you have kids... you (try to) go to bed earlier... and you get up earlier. Although - I actually had to wake Lizzy up on our MK day - she was still passed out cold when we got up.

I'm sure having a kid will do that...although maybe I can train it to sleep later. :lookaroun

:ROFLOL: :ROFLOL: Good one Nibbs! Abby always was up with the sunrise, and Joel gets up every day between 6:30 and 7. Although he usually just plays until we stumble to the door and open it. God's cosmic joke on me not being a morning person.

yes...it probably will. But I was always such a thoughtful child...letting my parents sleep in...maybe mine will be.

:ROFLOL: See?! That was me too! My mom always wondered what in the world her friends were talking about... I loved to sleep as a baby/kid/teen/adult! :D Lizzy sleeps great too - but she's still up by 8 or 8:30 every day. Which is earlier than I'd get up if I had the choice - but I can't complain - My best friends boys are up at 5:30 or 6 every morning. :dazzle: No way could I do that.

But there is no "training" them. When my sister came along my mom learned real quick what no sleep was like. LOL She stayed up late and was up with the sun. :brick:

I pray my next one isn't like that... I worry sometimes that I got pretty lucky with Lizzy - I'm bound to get a sickly nonsleeper next. :lookaroun

This probably sounds weird to all you laptop users, but I'm having a time trying to figure out how to use the 'mouse' on this thing - it's slowed me down! Plus I'm not the best typist. So sorry if I'm not responding - I'm not ignoring you, just....incompetent.

8 or 8:30? That's amazing - my kids never slept past 7 as kids. Now as teens, that's a different story!!!
