Some people do not.
The groom's mom wants me to get my dress first.
She's in no hurry because she says she wants to lose some weight first.

Black is very elegant.

My SIL got married in April and we were in May, so my MIL needed 2 dresses. She bought a pink dress figuring that she would wear it to one of the weddings. She decided to wear it to ours since it would match the bridesmaids...it was fine because pink is not my Moms color.
