Why?I'm filling out a 21 page contract for our new house that we're putting in an offer on. :lookaroun Talk about lots of addendums.
About 3 minutes from where I live now. :lookaroun
The paper work's not fun... but the house will be if we get it. I didn't know you were here! Hi! :kiss:
B/C there's alot of things that have to be done before we can move in... it's basically a handyman special with a good roof and HVAC unit. All the floors need redone, the kitchen is hideous though it has all new appliances, the "new" tile is black and white like a 50's style.. not my taste at all. Everything in teh whole house needs to be painted, the laundry room needs to be finished (it's an addition) And we need to add about 500 sq. feet of house to one section. So there's alot of paperwork involved in that.
But... when once we complete the work, we'll have an excellant amount of equity in the home, which beats buying a newer one and having to wait for the home to appreciate. Especially at the rate we've been buying/selling our houses. :lol:
Though I hope to stay in this one for a few years. At least until we outgrow it.

I'm actually really excited at the idea of getting to refinish everything the way I like it.
I love the idea of starting fresh and really getting to put my own touches on it.I'm not sure they'll accept the contract though... we were pretty firm on what we wanted and were willing to pay. We were reasonable, but I'm not sure how reasonable these sellers are.
We'll see in a couple days!
