I'm excited for you. I know what you mean about artsy careers though, and we're still in the midst of it with DS. He'd really love to major in music in college and spend his life just playing his music, but the practical side of me really wants him to set a different goal for himself, and just keep his music on the back burner as a hobby.
It must be hard for artistic people to have this irresistible pull to do what they love, when reality tells them it's not practical. Practicality over happiness. . .why must it always be a choice?
