I'm dieting b/c my jeans are getting snug again... and I like my jeans.

Annnnnd I know what you mean about food in Disney... there came a point where I no longer looked forward to all the rides... it was the castle, hotel, and food.
I know what you mean about the jeans Jess...I tried to put mine on yesterday...and could barely get them zipped. So...no (or little) snacking for me at work from now on! :D

oh and for dessert I had one and only one choc. covered cherry. Yummy

:slurp: Pass one over here please! I've been refraining from buying any valentine's day candy... i love the bunny shaped sweet tarts... but if I buy a bag - between DH and I it'll be gone in 2 days.

I have to limit myself to one choc covered cherry and day or just a couple of other candies a day. It helps sometimes but then there are those days. Like yesterday and Saturday.:zipit:

At least the soda was diet.

mmmm speaking of non diet foods.... I'm making my famous Sloppy Joe's tonight. :slurp:

I most likely won't have supper tonight. If I do it will only be a half of a sandwich.:lookaroun

See I can do that... limit myself and whatnot... it's the DH that has the problem with over consuming sweets. If it's in the house, he's going to eat them... and keep eating... and keep eating.. until there's no more sweets. I've learned, just don't buy it and we never have to worry about it. ;)

 half a sandwhich for dinner?! That's not supper! LOL Alot of southern families are like that down here... they eat a large midday meal and just something snackish or light for supper. Not my family... ;) LOL Supper is always the big meal of the day.

It used to be that here also. But when I started to lose weight I cut out the meals at night and the weight more or less just dropped off of me. We still eat big meals once in a while but not as often. Going out is usually our big meals at night.

Wow... maybe I need to try that. I'm trying to cook more around here... for awhile there we were going out to dinner 4 or 5 times a week out of convenience and price. It's much cheaper for us to eat out than it is stay at home, but... I like the tradition of sitting down for a meal with the whole family in the evening, so we've been making the effort. I love cooking so it's not exactly a big sacrifice... and DH has been volunteering to help with the dishes afterwards so that's been nice... however... It's hard to spend hours cooking something for it to disappear in 20 minutes.

I know what you mean Jess. since I've been home, I've been doing a lot more cooking, and I really do enjoy it when I have the time to do it right. It's just that in an instant it's over, and all you have left is a pile of dirty dishes!
