Ok so what is it with this week then? I just want it to stop. I need sleep.

So how is everyone else this morning?

I'm feeling a little guilty for having slept well! :lookaroun
But getting up at 4:00 AM helps with that.
So good to be home today!

Neither Jay or I drink coffee....but all of a sudden he has started. When I saw him walking around with a cup of coffee in his hand I was shocked. He told me that I need to go out a buy a coffee maker?!?!

I'll help you out Dot. I don't drink coffee.:hurl: Hot tea or Hot Choc. :slurp:

Actually the machine at work that dispenses the tea water and the hot chocolate is a real pain. It also dispenses several kinds of cappuccino. Keeping it filled and clean is one of my jobs. :brick:

It is.
But, I guess Oedpius and Antigone were the most enjoyable out of the lot.
I would like to read something WRITTEN IN THIS CENTURY.
That'd be nice.

Ah yes, I remember that impatience from my days in high school lit classes.

My Am Lit teacher spent the entire first semester on the 18th Century. "Sinners in the Hand of an Angry God" and other assorted Puritan writings, plus a BIG dose of "The Scarlet Letter." (Do you detect a theme here??) We didn't get to the Civil War until after spring break (and 3 horrific weeks of "On Walden Pond"). Then it was a mad dash to get to Eugene O'Neill and Hemingway before May.

I do understand, but you WILL appreciate having read the stuff by "dead guys". Everytime you hear the phrase "Oedipal Complex" you can smile in smug satisfaction that you know what it means and why.

Or, you can open a salvage business and call it "Oedipus Wrecks."

Hang in there.....
