Yes, we plan to with our tax refund.

It's not like I have a lot of choice. I called her medicaid nurse, who talked to her doctor, who said to come in tomorrow. If we go to the ER and they say it's nothing, Medicaid won't pay since I checked with her doctor. Plus I have no way to pay for a cab and she is nowhere near sick enough for an ambulance (medicaid has criteria for this)

That's your call to make.
I'm not trying to be mean or interfering Bonny, but when you tell us something is wrong we worry. And then we think of what we would do. And I would go to the hospital. I wouldn't wait. I wouldn't care who pays them or if they get paid at all. I'd just go.

Did you talk to the nurse after you noticed the smell and the swelling?

Yes, that is why I called in the first place. If it is business hours and not a life or death emergency we have ot go through them first.

I know (I'm sorry you all are worried...maybe I shouldn't have said anything), but my hands really are tied.....sigh.

Yeah, the plan is to get a clunker for Andrew to use for work only so I have the van with MJ's chair in it and stuff.

Bonny if I was there with you right now...I would make you bring her.....:mad:
Im frustrated by this..safe then Sorry Bonny..who cares what the Dr or Andrew says...Take her..tell them whats wrong..They send you home..then fine..its nothing serious..but you and us will know......

Just read your posts Bonny...
Floridas medicaid must be screwed up..they pay for everything for us regardless of whether the Dr said to go or not..or if she stays home.....
