I think it all should be illegal...if an adult spanked another adult it would be assult, so why is it okay for us to spank kids?

I'm sure this is a hot-button issue, but I agree with you, Bonny.
There are other, more effective ways to get your point across.
Why would you choose to inflict physical pain on the little person you love most in this world?
Makes no sense to me.

Basically, we got another visit from our "friend" - things got out of hand, and we reported his posts. Marcia temporarily closed the thread and sent it to Steve for review. Our thread was restored and the "visitor" wa banned.

I don't know if Betty or Dana is answering this as well, but in short. . .
The thread has been visited lately by a poster who wasn't interested in conversation with us. Rather, he spoke in gibberish and became insulted if we questioned him. Finally yesterday, he became outright vulgar and several of us reported him. The thread was closed for a bit so the powers-that-be could check it out. Everything soon returned to normal and the offender is gone for good.

It's a federal form you have to fill out for financial aid for college. Then they tell you how much they expect you (the parent) to be able to contribute. Then you laugh hysterically, then you cry, and sell a kidney or 2....
