Rumor- Changes are coming to Mickey's Jammin Jungle parade. New characters will be added to the parade. It's rumored the drummers will be leaving.

Here's hoping for some rare characters!

I bet they're going to put in Nemo, a bug's life, and maybe Up characters...

They need to do something, it is kinda bad. If you take parades as a baseball analogy, MSEP and Spectro are like the Major League, Block Party is like Triple A baseball, MJJP is like peewee baseball

I don't get why they feel the need to make changes to the parades. Remember when the parade use to be replaced when they felt it had outlived it's prime?

Were the drummers the same folks who's show ends on 9/24? If so, this is guaranteed to be changed. If the show is out, then the cast members are out, too.

If separate entities, then I don't know.

We've never seen this parade.

Same guys and the 3 of them that I know are great guys and incredible musicians. I really hope this is a case of Disney "plussing" the show but it's probably a budget cut. Animal Kingdom is the best park for one thing and one thing only....live music. If they start removing groups, it goes from a 1/2 day park to about 2 hours in my book. :brick:

You aren't missing much imo. It's the worse daytime parade at WDW.

Wow, I really enjoyed this parade as did the little one's in my group who were laughing and reaching out to the cast members. Maybe it was because it just felt more intimate the other larger parades.

Of course we like all the parades so maybe it was just us...

I have to say I really like this parade, it has a lot of energy and is very colorful. I love the puppets & so on.

However, it's been running nearly ten years now and I'm sure it's showing it's age, which is a shame.

Nevertheless I rather prefer a ten year old parade thats fullfiled of Disney Magic (remember Magic in the Streets music from the CD. Included Tapestry of Nations, Share a Dream Come True, among others...) than a rebuilt and "updated version" of the parade. I like this parade too.

Wow, different strokes for different folks, I guess!

I LOVE Mickey's Jammin' Jungle Parade! Both the standard version and the Christmas version known as Mickey's Jingle Jungle Parade! It's my FAVORITE of the regular WDW daytime parades, and has been ever since I can remember (even when the Studios had Stars and Motor Cars, which I prefer over BPB)

I find it to be an extremely fun and festive celebration of animals, and I find the music extremely catchy! I think the parade fits the theme of the park PERFECTLY and I prefer it to Celebrate A Dream Come True and MUCH more than Block Party Bash!

I also love the way the characters like Chip and Dale, Brer Rabbit, Brer Bear, etc, come over and give high-fives, handshakes, and hugs!

For anyone interested, here is an account of my favorite memory of the AK parade:
