I told him that since I'm going to be roughly the size of a beached whale this summer, I was thinking that maybe a membership to the local swim club would make for a neat Mother's Day present.... and he looked at me and with all seriousness exclaimed "You're not a mother yet."

I am such a wuss when it comes to pain...I have no idea how I'm going to handle labor when I have kids

And I don't like needles...but I'm sure as hell getting an epidural anyway...I'll just be petrified to do it.

BTW, that was hard to read earlier about Maggie last night.... I have heard many similar stories about strings like that. My wife and I had Kayden in her carrier and it was set on the chair. Well she lead forward in it and tip over front ways and it smacked straight down on the pergo floors. She was still strapped in with the carrier on top of her. Talk about feeling bad. I know EXACTLY how you felt!
