Hey Jess, glad to be home?? Mixed emotions?? Kayden is typically bad the day after we get back from a vacation..

Glad to be home. No mixed emotions. I was ready to go home by Friday night, after I'd seen dot and luke I was ready to be home in my own bed. Buuuut I'm glad we stayed - we ended up having a great last couple of days. Though it really does feel good to be home. ;)

Lizzy just went down for her "afternoon" nap - it's 10am. She got out of the tub and kept signing milk with her blankie thrown over one arm... It was clear what she wanted. And now she's just chatting herself to sleep.

hahaha...:fork:

:drevil:

And yes, Jess, I understand the rules, I will let you all know before my mother!

:D Glad you understand.

Hi guys...the TV lied to me....the kids are home after all....sigh-there goes my nice quiet morning.

I have a dilemma - we're thinking of a trip to Disney (DH and I) for 3 days, 2 nights without the kiddos. Am I totally selfish to want to go to Disney without them? It would be nice to go to Epcot and take our time exploring WS some more. There's also the money issue...I assume we'd take some of our tax refund money, but I'm still waiting on one bank statement before I can do them.

BTW, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MJ! :sohappy: :sohappy: Have a wonderful weekend!

Go to www.babysigns.com and order the bed time and meal time dvd's. You'll be amazed... she'll start signing things before you even teach them to her. It's so nice being able to communicate with her.

Hi Jenny!

You're not being selfish at all... everyone needs some time away without the kiddo's once in awhile! And why not go to your favorite playground while you're away?! ;) I say go for it! :sohappy:

Not selfish at all! Dave and I have gone several times without the kids - the first time was tough at first, but you two deserve some time alone. It not only gives you a whole different perspective about WDW, but it also strenthens your own relationship. I don't regret it at all!

I guess I'm just not sure about blowing that kind of money on just the two of us...but time alone would be wonderful. So, what do you think? The F&G festival? or F&W Festival? F&G is only 2+ months away.
I really need a break - I have been feeling really burnt out these last few days. There's never time enough to accomplish anything, and coming on here and chatting gives me blessed respite from my day-to-day life.
