Thanks for the opinions. I have seen some of the you tube video's that people have posted there. Although I would love to try the experience at Disney as I know it will be diffrent and also very good I don't think its worth the experience to take a crowd of 7. If I had seen something amazing it might be worth the 2 to 3 hundred price tag that I would spend with a party of 7.

We might leave the kids at Disney Quest and try it though. hahaha.

Hello again! If you don't mind leaving the kids at Disney Quest then head over to the DTD Hilton, Benihana's is located to the left of the lobby.

No,

The point is, there are many places to eat at WDW. More than you can eat at in one trip

I had heard many many times how wonderful Teppan Edo is.

It was not that it was bad, but there were far better places at home. More than just one. It is really not that great a Teppan place. If you don't have one in your area, then it is a new experience and you should go. If you have one in your area, chances are it's better and I would recommend avoiding the place unless Teppan dining is one of your all time favorite things to eat.

If someone had made some posts such as the ones I have made, where I say "its not bad, but I have had better elsewhere in any number of places" then maybe I would have chose to eat elsewhere. As it is, I most likely would have eaten there anyway just to give it a shot. But for someone who is planing a once in a decade (or lifetime trip) to WDW, and who has a decent Teppan place in their hometown, I will continue to recommend skipping it.

I hear your point and agree that an "experience" type dining location might be viewed differently if you have that "experience" at home.
Therefore, Teppan Edo is probably a good example where a "home restaurant" can be brought up in comparison.

As I mentioned, my rant wasn't geared towards anybody on this thread.
It was aimed more at those type of people who say stupid things like "I'll never eat at the Flying Fish, Jiko, or Le Cellier again, because Joe's Place down the street has such a great fish or steak." Totally ignoring the atmosphere and everything else that goes with Disney restaurants.

Sometimes, I honestly want to climb into my computer, and STRANGLE those people.
