I have a M:S question of my own. My brother says that they tilt the capsule at the start so you're on your back, and then you launch. Is it actually tilting, or is it just spinning so it feels like it? Thanks in advance.

You tilt back before you start spinning.

Yes it tilts, forwards, backwards, left and right...

On your decent to Mars mostly. You can even hear the capsule turning.

I don't know. But it would have to be pretty freaking fast if your face is being pushed to the back of your head on liftoff.

Based on rough calculations, yes, but we don't know 100%. Remember, it goes in a tight circle. Try going around in you car at 30mph in a small circle!

Actually, I would've thought it to go slower than that. 28mph is pretty fast.

28 mph does seem pretty fast for a simulator that spins in a tight circle. It may seem slow on the rollercoasters, but in Mission: Space it would seem a little intense.

And you can tell that the capsule is tilting before takeoff, and it is also pretty obvious when you are dodging asteroids right outside Mars.

They're pulling your leg, at 10 sustained you will die, if not, you will be very close to dying.

A typical person can handle about 5 g's. So there is no way Mission: Space can be 10 g's. I think I saw something some where that Mission: Space was 3 g's. I'll see if I can find it.
