Im sure Imagineers make a pretty good salary since most of them have degrees in some aspect of design and engineering engineers can start out making around $70,00 a year if not more.

Disney actually pays below industry standards for almost all of its jobs (WDI included). I know a few imagineers that came over from Lockheed Martin and each took at least a 20% cut in pay to work for the Mouse

Hey mkt do you know if they will ever be letting other Disney CM's into MS? I work over at Splash and have been waiting for the news that CM's would be able to test. If only Epcot CM's can test it I'm gonna be bummed. I thought one of the advantages to working at Disney would be getting on rides before everyone else. Because as everyone has discussed before, the pay is not what attracts people to work for Disney.

First off, please forgive me if I’m incoherent, but I just finished driving back to Dallas from Disney World, and I’m rather tired.

I was at Epcot Monday morning. Like others have said, planters blocked all the paths to Mission Space, although there were no cast members near the planters. (If there had been, I would have done some serious begging). I did see three people sitting in the courtyard (all wearing red shirts), and occasionally I saw cast members dressed in the standard Epcot costume enter and leave the building. I would have watched longer, but my wife and kids wanted to do something other than stare at the outside of a building.

I have some pictures, but I don’t know when I might get the chance to post them. This was a completely unplanned trip, so now I have to catch up on all those things I was supposed to do while I was gone.

The preshow area is very impresive and gives the veiwer lots to look at.

Once you are on the ride it starts getting very real. I totaly felt the lift off and the visuals brought out squeels from the other occupants in my capsual.

After the ride there was a moment of disoriantation but it passed quickly enough and I did not experiance any of the inclination to "protien spill" that I had feared.

I personaly feel that the realisation of this attraction was much more satisfying than the final experiance of Test Track. This one delivers on it's promise. Your going to love it.:sohappy: :sohappy: :sohappy:
