Mission: Space - to do or not to do

The ride is not as intense as it was when it first opened. after the first death they turned it back a smidge, the second death a smidge more. It seems to have cured to problem I guess. This is what I heard from a cast member in 2007 when I was there. If anyone has heard any different let me know.

I do think it is not as intense as it was though, I rode it like 2 weeks after it opened and it HURT, very intense, once a day experience..... but the last couple of times I rode it I noticed it was not as intense, I never said anything about it but the people we were with brought it up after the ride confirming my suspision.. anyone else care to weigh in?

I don't know if its because of the "thrill" of the first time I rode it, or some other reason, but I feel the same way.

The first time I rode it was in - I am going to say, Feb of 2006, does that sound right? It was before the whole orange/green thing.

I would have sworn the gravity effects were stronger then. But again, that may just be my perception.

Just a tad..;)
I think it is the wost ride in all of Walt Disney World..
Pointless...and yes..I have ridden it before..

Do any of the rides in WDW have a point, aside from entertainment ?

Maybe, MAYBE, some have a mild educational factor (as in we all know to thank the Phonecians now)

Probably not..I just do not like that one at all and think it is a huge waste of time and space..

Like I said..my opinion..I know others like it..love it..but I can not stand it for some reason..and it never made me sick..I just thought it was..dumb..

You're wrong. My opinion (obviously).

I have never ridden the intense side. I get motion sickness very easily (even things like Star Tours make me really sick) and the last thing I want is my vacation ruined because I'm puking. That said, I've ridden the green side a number of times and enjoy it. Its not the best ride in the world but its fun, and the motions of the capsule really do make it seem like you're blasting off. No, you don't feel weightless, but to me that's ok because I'd rather not feel nauseous afterward. I think the imagineers did a great job in making this something everyone can ride and still be fun.

Do it once, and then your done with it! Then you will at least know what everyone is talkin' about!

Already been there done that, more than once when there was only one way to do it my question was more on the difference between the orange and green versions and which one to do...if I do it at all
