The odyssey building has become such a waste of space...they could take that out and put in another building...or anything better...can't get much worse than it is now....

Nah, I wanted to make The building a Horizon's walk through attraction. Where you visit each of the future living spaces..Desert, Space, and Ocean, and participated in every-day-life there..Details to follow

They had something going on in there during the Food and Wine festival, so I guess its not left alone all the time.

There were several parties for private groups when I was down on my College Program. I had two programs in that building.

It was also where the Epcot cast pin party was during the countdown to the big pin trading event in August.

They have enough meeting places...;)

They can expand the building and have a whole section for WoM, JII, Horizons, Kitchen Kabaret, and any other "major" EPCOT attraction that has been almost fully done away with.

In the KK section, there would be 3 video screens of different scenes from the show, maybe CDs or DVDs of the show...same for WoM, and there they can have Bird and Robot Performing...there would be models...maybe the Dreamcatcher with D/F and Figment could be hung...and maybe even be still performing...who knows!

There needs to be more for those people who loved EPCOT the way it was. It's a totally different park now...and for the 20th anniversary, this thing should start being built now. I was thinking Global Neighborhood...but the Odyssey is perfect! Decorate it very futurisitic...

Maybe even a section to WALT'S EPCOT...

YAY! This is Imagination...and it's not even the Imagination pavillion...

Excellent idea. I hope they do something like that for the anniversary. Personally, I'd like to see it in the old Millennium Village, b/c it's so much bigger. But, Odyssey kinda links Future World and World Showcase. They definately need SOMETHING where Millennium Village was...Coronado Springs is enough meeting space...I would like to see them actually BUILD Kitchen Kabaret in the building, and have one other attraction, which would be with three parts. Roy Disney would be the narrator, and there would be a screen in the middle of the vehicle showing him talking. The first section of the ride would be a section of Horizons, the second part would be World of Motion, and the third would be Journey Into Imagination. The ride would conclude with a post-show in a large theater showing Walt talking about his Experimental Prototype City of Tomorrow.

I don't know if they will invest in a RIDE...It would be a big investment...I would prefer more like a walk through exhibit...but if they will allow a ride, sure...go for it!

Also...World Showplace would be PERFECT...but it is hidden and is in World Showcase...the Oddyssey is NOT Hidden and is in FUTURE WORLD...more people have access to it (Test Track/FW/WS break) and it is all based on FW attractions. But if they allow WShowplace and people visit it, go for it!!! :D

Well...I don't think they would pay for it either, but I think it'd be kewl:) I think it'd be a Fastpass attraction, so if they hyped it enough, it'd be popular.

I don't think that Disney will mix thematics, they never do. I mean situating something that belongs to Future World on World Showcase doesn't seem probable at all.

I doubt they can have it ready to go by the holidays. After all, Test Track was supposed to open late 97/early 98, and it still breaks down.
