Mission: Space "queasiness" level?

Just think of the thing as a hundred million dollar gravitron ride and you'll know what to expect intensity wise, although I would say it's still more intense due to the positions the individual cars are put in during the ride to simulate the different movements.

I rode MS 2x in a row... the first time it didn't bother me at all... the second time I got a bit queasy for a really short time, and it passed, & I was fine. I've heard a lot of people mention that they get claustrophobic, even if the spinning doesn't bother them. I think that's it's one of those attractions that everyone should try to experience though!!

I rode Mission Space twice and after each time my stomach was slightly upset. I wasn't really dizzy, but I did feel as though I had just gotten out of the car after a really bad bumpy ride. In other words, it was a bad feeling, not the good natural "high" I feel after stepping off good roller coaster.

One REALLY weird thing though. During the first time I rode it, at one point I could feel (and see) one of my contact lenses slowly sliding out of place on one of the "turns" your ship takes. Not a problem really. I was able to blink it back into place without a problem.

I've only ridden it once, but I didn't have any problems. Maybe a bit of queasiness after I got off the ride, but while I was on it, I felt fine. I'm not one prone to motion sickness, but I am TERRIBLY claustrophobic. I mean, nervous-about-bathroom-stalls-and-refuses-to-ride-elevators claustrophobic. I found that if I just focused all of my attention on the screen (especially when they lowered the controls), I didn't get upset about the tight quarters. As for the motion sickness, like the others have said: obey the instructions, and I'm sure you'll be fine.

And, my contact lens moved during one of the turns too! That's so weird. Of course, it might have been because I was afraid that I'd miss something if I blinked. I tend to do that, and it makes my eyes dry out. But it's still nice to know that it's happened to someone else.

I am someone who gets EXTREMELY sick on spinning rides. I pass out, I throw up, I get headaches, I can't even function normally for the rest of the day if I go on a spinning ride.

With that said, I am able to enjoy Mission:Space fully without any ill effects. As long as I follow the instructions and look straight ahead the entire time I am fine. The moment I start to glance to the right or left or shut my eyes the sick feeling starts to creep in, so it is very important that you just stare straight at the screen in front of you throughout the ride.
