my point was six flags parks have more coasters. As for the Hulk's launch...Space Mountain: From the Earth to the Moon has had the same LIM launch up an incline since 1995. I've also been on better inverted coasters...like Alpengeist.

They are very similar. The whole park is around a lake, with boats used for transportation, Diff. pavilions are found all around WS, just as lands are found around IoA. Not to mention the fireworks that are shot up from the middle of the lagoon.

I see what you mean. I thought you meant the actual layout. Which doesn't make sense, but I see hwo you relate it.

Hulk does not use LIMs.

It uses super rotating friction tires to launch.

Off topic but....

In this thread I have noticed a couple people assume the opening time of mission space to be around Feb/March of next year. Is there any validity to this I'm going next February and would love to know.

Re: Off topic but....

If you take a look at the recent photos of the attraction, construction has come to a near standstill... and the countdown clock was removed. Some speculate this is test track 2.0 We may have several year left until this ride gets completely on-line. However, some have reported that they are on track... I am leaning towards the "it will be a while" side... as the visible progress is 0. :brick: In other news, JIYI seems to be going along very well... to bad it will probably suck.:fork:

Yeah but it goes up an incline into an Immelman loop. I've been on a lot of roller coasters but I will say that Hulk probably has the most intense first few seconds of any coaster I've been on although I have never been on the new Launch coasters from Stan the Man.
