They also said that less the 1% of the people who ride Mission: SPACE get sick.

I heard the same thing on CNN. If it's less than 1%, then why bother with the expense of the barf bags?

I'm extremely prone to motion sickness, and most of the time, if I go to a theme park (WDW, Universal, Six Flags), I'll take a dramamine.

However, our first day there last month, I forgot to take it, and went on M:S anyway. I didn't have any problem. The key is always looking at the screen....I think a lot of people think they can handle it and then look up/down or move around enough to make themselves sick.

The only time I had got sick on MS was during the testing phases. It was my 30 something'th time, and my Friend Tifani's first time. For some unknown reason, we both came off feeling like we were gonna throw up. I have been on MS over 100 times, and only that once did I feel sick. Tifani hasnt felt sick since then either. If you really want to get dizzy, whenever there is a time where your pushed back, look down or up. That gets me really disoriented, but nowhere near throwing up

Wow, I wasn't expecting the barf bags..... A CM friend of mine said that about 1/1,000 people actually gets sick on the ride. Unfortunately one of those was sitting next to me a few weeks ago. I had a lovely time trying to climb out of the capsule.... and if the thing rotated the opposite way I would have been hit!

I'm still trying to find my limit on that ride....... last time I rode I felt nauseous (sp?) before riding..... and actually felt better after!

My sister got sick on that ride, but we now know that she's pregnant!
