Hi!

Does anyone have the mission space exterior concept art, and the actual way it looks now, to compare?

I think it would be really interesting to see!

thanks

I've seen it on here somewhere. It's not that different from final design. As a matter of fact, I think Steve's Avatar is the original design. It has the Spaceship inside a Metal Globe instead of the Earth with the Spaceship slingshoting around. There are propably some other small details... the moon maybe?

Yeah... there's no gift shop in the concept art!

Well... I'm sure there is a gift shop, it;s just not visible, not in the location where it is today (to the far left, close to WOL)...

Also, the main building visible in the conept art is far more, er- "square" (right angles) than what people can see of the main building in "real life" at Epcot. (pciky picky I know... but an observation nonetheless) :)

Also, the top-most "curve" curvy-thing shooting out of Mars (the red planet in Planetary Plaza), the path of the rocket and its exhaust tail, is more elevated in the concept art... In "real life" it does not elevate as much...

And as Spidy said, the Earth globe in Planetary Plaza is replaced with a metal astronomical map of the heavens in the concept art...:)
