I'm at home casually browsing wait times cause I'm trying to get an idea of things this time of the day.. I know it's a Sunday so probably a lot of locals there for F&G fest.. But OMG it's almost twice the wait then test track! Is there something I'm missing? Lol

when I said is there something I'm missing I was thinking more about how it was almost double test tracks wait time... A glitch sounds more logical.. It's probably just my app? Test track says 40 and mission space now says 130 ... All I know it I wouldn't wait more then 30 mins for mission space lol

Right now (4:48 Florida time), I'm seeing it at 20 minutes. What I don't get is seeing Peter Pan and Pooh at crazy wait times. (Right now *only* 45 and 55 minutes, but I've seen them super high too). I just noticed they have Frozen listed on the wait times "coming soon."

Yes
I saw that once before a few months ago. I couldn't believe it then and it seems my suspicions about it being a mistake were probably correct.

It's actually a really good ride. Very underrated and unloved.

I don't think it ever got rid of the stigma of what it "replaced" with the die hard fans. I think if it had been a new attraction and venue then it may do better in the frothing fanboi crowd. I would agree it is a decent ride but would also counter that once you realize after the 3rd ride or so that the user input is a placebo that it loses some of it's luster.

Peter Pan has awful wait times even when the park is empty! It's insane, and I've never understood why... It's not even that great, IMO.

Unfortunately, replacing Horizons was never going to be easy. The ride is so different, it can't even be compared.

I would have voted to keep Horizons and build a completely new structure for Mission Space.

The simulated "blast off" to space is so well done, I don't think many people are even ready for the experience. It's really unique and probably too intense for many. When Disney was forced to create "Green Team," the ride basically lost its mojo. Today, it needs a new video, new programming, and a new mission to really update it (seems it should be relatively easy).

As far as user input, I don't find that very disappointing. It's just something for you to do as you watch the mission. I'm sure they could add a few variables in new programming that might actually impact your mission.

The reason I don't think they'll put any money into renovations/updates is because they've already admitted it was the wrong attraction to build because they've essentially cut it in half. I doubt they'll spend serious money on an attraction that can only use at 50% capacity and a fraction of its built capability.

Sad, because I think it could really be incredible if they updated the software, video, and mission more frequently or even had multiple missions. The platform is awesome and still cutting edge.

I went on it once, the easy side, and felt sick. Granted, I don't do well with motion, but my point is, it's not a ride for everyone so it's going to get a more limited fan base than most other rides there. Plus, the styling on the outside is kind of plain and doesn't really seem too inviting. Plus, from what I've read of the ride it replaced, it doesn't at all seem like a good replacement (I never had the opportunity to go on it but wish I was able to).

Oddly, that's very standard. It shouldn't be, seems like it's an easy ride to get people on and off of quickly. But the line remains long all the time. I'm referring to Peter Pan more so here, as Pooh usually has a steady 30-40 min wait time while Peter Pan can go over an hour pretty regularly.

Even reading about Mission Space makes my head spin. That being said, I'll be riding it again in about month because DH loves it. Glad to hear it was likely a glitch because I didn't get a fastpass for it.

Is this some kind of vacation week that I'm missing? The app is showing 40 minutes for Magic Carpets. That can't be right, can it? Does that queue even hold 40 minutes worth of people? 90 minutes each for Space, Splash, and Mine Train. 45 for Buzz and Dumbo.

ETA: Just checked Touring Plans and it's 8 / 9 / 10 all week. What's going on?
