Aren't there cameras monitoring the guests who ride inside the mission space simulators to prevent what happened today?

A camera could record the event on film, but could it really prevent anything from occurring???

I would doubt it because of course you cant see whats going on internally, you can only see the peoples facial expressions and the effect of the ride could make somone have a certain facial expression when in fact they are healthy and nothing is wrong. The flip side is though that person could be making that expression as there is sumin rong with them and Disney cant stop a ride every time a person looks to be grimacing (bad typo i know).

I think would have thought there is someone monitoring the ride but only to see if someone does actually pass out as the boy did or take a very adverse reaction to the ride.

Maybe i could take "im fine" and "im not fine" cards when if i go on it in July when im there.

You are correct. But I really meant it as a rhetorical question. Sorry for the confusion.

My point was that cameras can capture behaviors or occurrences, but certainly cannot prevent them.

EXAMPLE: If cameras were preventative, there would never be bank or convenience store robberies (or people jumping out of their Spaceship Earth and Splash Mountain vehicles)!

If they stopped the ride because it looked like someone passed out, they would stop M:S everytime I ride because I usually fall asleep on it (or almost asleep) :)
