It's like a spirit or "Spark" That never faded away....:(

It has been said many times, but I hope the current attraction gets an extreme overhaul in the future. Just hearing the original interior music playing while seeing videos and images of the current state just makes my heartbreak.

Somebody has got to greenlight a Journey Into Imagination animated Disney film in the future to get the people at Disney more awareness about the original attraction and the current Figment comics. I don't care if this idea ever happens or not I just hope Tony Baxter will still be alive in order for this idea to happen. Right @Tahu ?

No - it's a conspiracy of missing signage.

If I had to take a guess, when they took the banners down something happened to them or they decided when looking at them upclose to replace them. The wet climate and Florida Sunshine has to make those things fade and get dirty quickly, just like the flags do if you look closely around the parks.

Those banners in particular are not incredibly old, they were replaced in December 2015.

Someone leaked the new theme for the pavilion and it's potential future!

I've yet to go on Imagination with anyone including our kids that didn't leave a tad bit confused, certainly disappointed while liking the character of Figment, but thinking he's a tad bit annoying. To think that all that was needed was some modernization of the original, yet we're stuck on 2.0 of the awful revamp. We were there the first morning that 1.0 of Journey into YOUR Imagination opened and wow, that was disappointing! I remember leaving the ride and asking a cast member about what in the world did they do to the original and they were dumbfounded over the changes.

@marni1971, was the original story that Kodak required a revamp of the attraction per their sponsorship contract actually true?

I really hate how Figment is portrayed in the new version. He went from a cute, fun and likeable character into a Looney Tuneish character that likes causing mischief and forces "Imagination" down your throat.

Dreamfinder and Figment were a perfect duo and the pavilion isn't the same without Dreamfinder.

Which is why I do not understand why Disney Junior has never incorporated an idea of using him for shorts or at least a series to market the characters to a demographic that would make him much more memorable as much as they have been throwing stuff out left and right with Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. They could have a new series "Figment & The Imagineers" in his whimsical world similar to where he lived in his educational films that were done in the late 80's...

And yes I do know of the Cancelled Dreamfinders show as well...
