Minnie Moo

My wife and I honneymooned in DisneyWorld 10 years ago and we remember seeing Minnie Moo. The cow with the Mickey Spot on her. When we returned for the first time in october 03 with our kids we looked for her but did not see her. We are going agin in about a week and would like to show the kids. Did something un-Disneylike happen to her (die), or has she be sent out to pasture?

I had to do a search on this because I was looking at pictures of Minnie Moo from 1992 today and was sad to see she had died. Was she old, did she get sick, where did they find her in the first place? Does anyone have any info? I was just curious.

IIRC, there's a picture of her in the horse barn at the Tri-Circle D Ranch at Ft. Wilderness. I remember seeing her when I was in 5th grade. What an awesome cow.

If I remember the story correctly, when she was born the owner noted her distinctive markings and contacted Disney about it and then they bought her and brought her to WDW.

I was just going thru some old photos and saw mine...
