Minnie and Daisy

My daughter wants to find Daisy. Any suggestions? I posted this once before, awhile ago. The response was that she makes rare, random appearances. Has anyone seen her recently? If so, where?

Also, is Minnie currently appearing at the character breakfast at O"Hana's (Spelling? I mean the one at the Polynesian.)

Minnie is at the Breakfast at Chef Mickey's (contemporary)

I've also seen her in the tower of terror area or around the sorceror's hat at MGM

Minnie and Mickey are at Animal Kingdom. She's at Chef Mickey's.

You're best bet about finding Daisy is by asking someone at Guest Relations in one of the parks. They can call and find out if a character is SCHEDULED TO APPEAR in a park that day. Characters are not guaranteed to appear anywhere.

I never used the hotline that much, but I think you can only find out for the day off or the next day. Say you ask on Mon, you only get Mon. and maybe Tues. scheduled appearances.

I only saw Daisy once and that was at the Pin Trading Event at Epcot in Aug. 2001.

I just returned from our trip and we surprisingly found Daisy on Day One of touring on April 4th at the Camp Minnie-Mickey Character Trails in Animal Kingdom. Major score!:sohappy:

It seemed like she was going to be there most of the day.

And I distinctly remember your post from a month or so ago and within the responses were accounts from other people that this locale is the place to reguarly find Daisy. So I say if you go to AK, definately try there.

There are also three major character greeting places in MK. One in Main Street near the Train Station. One in Fantasyland in the old Submarine Ride que area. One in Mickey's Toon Town in the Hall of Fame Tent. We never went into any of these, but there's a good chance that Daisy may be present. Ask a CM posted out front and they'll tell you who is signing autographs for that day.

At every park, we saw Mickey, Goofy, Baloo, Timon, Chip & Dale, Rafiki, and Mad Hatter (not at AK, though).

Minnie is very present in all four parks. I'd be very surprised if you don't find her during your trip.

Character meals were great. We did three--Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, and Cinderella's Royal Table. They were all nicely done with very good food--about the only way the four parents could get to eat albiet with several photo/video op interruptions.

The kids loaded their autograph books at these places and were in bliss. They also ate which was nice because they sometimes didn't eat at other eateries.

Present at Chef Mickey's--Goofy, Donald, Mickey, Minnie, Chip & Dale.
At Crystal Palace--Pooh, Piglet, Tigger, Eyore.
At Cinderella's on 4/9am--Belle, Mary Poppins, Snow White, Cinderella & Prince Charming (who we found out has a first name of Tristan--never knew that before! He didn't know his brother's first name--y'know the one hitched to Snow White).:p

Hope this helps. Have a great trip!

re: Ohana's breakfast.

I would assume that Minnie is there since it's called something like Minnie's Minnihune Breakfast. They even do a semi-advertisement for it on the Monorial as you pass the Polynesian resort.

We were at AK on April 10, and Daisy was at the entrance. Later in the day, we went to Camp M-M and Donald was there. BUT, while we were in line, Donald left and Daisy came back. I asked the CM what had happened to Donald, and she said he was getting ready for the parade (parade at 4:00, we were there about 3:00). So, I guess to find Donald keep checking Camp M-M well before the parade time.

We have PS for these 3 as well. Thanks for the report, I am getting so excited! 8 more days 'til Disney Eve! (My kids and I are calling it that because we have to leave at 4:30 AM to make our 6:00 AM flight, so we will take them out of the house asleep. So they will wake up on the way to Disney. This is as much fun as Christmas so...)
:sohappy: :D :)

If you buy the Birnbaums book it has a grid in the back that has the most frequent appearances of what characters where. And i'm sure she is included in one of the character meals, but i don't remember which one ....sorry

But pick up the birnbaums book at the nearest Disney Stoer

Our two year old daughter got hooked on Daisy on our drive down from Tennessee last fall when we stopped at the Disney Welcome Center at Ocala. There was a wooden cutout of Daisy just outside the little theatre. She kept going outside the theatre and saying "Daisy, Daisy". We didn't even know she knew who Daisy was. So we had to find her!!:veryconfu

If you are staying in a Disney resort, call Guest Services each morning. They will be able to tell you if a character will be "out" that day with the location and time. Daisy only comes out a couple of days a week.

Using this method, we got to see Daisy twice in one day!!:sohappy: Our little girls were so thrilled. That is a Disney experience I will remember all my life. Daisy was on the character bus in Epcot.

Good Luck.
