So first off- I got engaged at Epcot on Wednesday, Sept 13th! SO that really boosted the trip magic!
We visited Magic Kingdom on Tuesday 9/12 and the crowds were very low. We were able to do everything with only a 10 minute wait max.
As the week went on... it became much much more crowded.
The bus transportation seemed reallly bad this time. It was always 20 minutes or more. Even when we were there in March it seemed quicker. We stayed at the Pop Century and our room was over in the 90's era. That is quite a walk (we counted over 400 steps to the Petals bar! lol!)

Some of the interesting places we ate at (I will rate them from * to ****)
Artist Pointe at the Wilderness Lodge **** (can I add one more star *?)
This place was awesome. The food was SO amazing. My fiancee had buffalo and I had the roasted chicken with the wine pairing. IT was WELL worth our money! I HIGHLY reccomend this place for a romantic evening. We rode the boat back over to the magic kingdom just in time for the fireworks after dinner.
Marrakesh (Morocco) at Epcot ***
The food was yummy, cooked well. The service was excellent. I accidently knocked over my ice water and they acted so nice about it and I didn't even have time to be embarressed because they were like "it's ok it's ok" and rushed to help me. The servers were very sweet. I had the shish kabobs and my fiancee had the lamb.
Spirit of Ahola Show **
Ok... so well.. personally... I did not think it was all that great. I wish I had really listened to the reviews I read..because people were exactally right. The beginning of the show was boring and really lame (for any age) and the food was like served quick, it's like you were rushed to eat. The seating was horrible. They might as well not have a back section because people had to stand DURING their meal at parts to see the show. I felt really bad for the kids that were behind us. The only great part about the show was the fire dancer. He was amazing. The food was alright, nothing special. The dessert was really good though and it was fun when they bring it out like it's a volcano.
The Hollywood Brown Derby @ MGM ****
Can we say YUMMY? This food was so so good. We did the dine with an imagineer lunch and we ate with one of the head archiects at Disney!!!! I was so happy to get someone that really has made a difference in Disney. He was quite shy which kinda threw me off a bit... normally most disney crew members seem loud and happy..
He let us talk and ask lot's of questions. He was joking how Disney World is like his kid's city park.. I said: "must be nice"
I had their famous cobb salad, steak, and creme brulee. It was devine.
Here's a picture of the bamboo room we were in:
Rainforest Cafe at Downtown Disney ***
I really liked this place. I loved the scenary and the darkness of the place. The food was really good too. I had the coconut shrimp and drinks. Their souvenier glasses are pretty neat too! Our waiter was really great and he made us feel very good. This is a great place to eat at your first night if you are staying offsite nearby downtown Disney. It's a cool way to jump into the themed restaurant atmosphere before you are actually in the parks. It is pricey though, but if you don't drink you are fine

Okay so here are some things that we found very fun:
Around the world on a Segway:
This was SOOOOOOO much fun. We started our tour at Epcot at 8:15 and we were trained on the segway and went around world showcase with our tour guide, Michael. He was so nice and funny- and we had a great time. WARNING: You will fall in love with your segway and wish that you had one to use around all of Disney!
Getting really into the timed pictures on rides. We have some great photos from Test Track, Expedition Everest, Rockin RollerCoaster, and Splash Mountain. Sadly, I don't have a scanner with me to share the EE one.. (which is absolutely hysterical.. even the photo people there thought it was one of th best... hint: we were shooting the Yeti with big invisable rifles)
But here is the one from test track:
Turtle Talk with Crush
This was so neat... I couldn't believe that they had this animated turtle talk to people in real time, and have the crush voice and everything. This was very humorous and fun for everyone at Epcot.

Weather:
It was burning up during the day. We are from NC so we are used to warmer climates, and this was a bad humid week for us. Thankfully the nights cooled down and it was beautiful like Florida always is:
I will post some more pictures tomorrow. Overall, we had a great time. I wish I could ride the RNRC some more. That has become my favorite. My fiancee got sick of riding it and so I rode it by myself 3 or 4 times. It's not good to ride RNRC then tower of terror.. that did something realllllly weird to my stomach. Has this happened to any of you before? I had sharp pains in my stomach that night...
Anyway I hope this was somewhat informative. I can't wait to go back with my family though. It's fun to go with just your significant other, but it's great to have the rest of the team there too.:animwink:
