Space Mountain will be getting a rehab soon... next year probably.. and expect it to be a complete gutting of the ride... You heard it hear first.... Ohhh, and CoP is getting refurbed.. as we speak.. a few posts here alluded to that

I believe its possibly 2007 for Space Mt. refurb.I work there and they would tell us that we would lose our attraction after Jan '06. Oh, and CoP's theaters are being refurbed one at a time.

It is all wishful thinking... I'm sure if SM was to go down for a rehab, we'd hear it here on WDWMagic..

Jungle Cruise Rehab

The Jungle Cruise definitely needs a rehab. I went last summer, and I don't know if these things have been fixed since then, but there were some problems.

For one thing, the pipes that shoot the pressurized water into the air to create the Amazon's mist effect were about a foot above the foliage around them. They were in plain friggin' sight. I don't know how long it's been like this, but I think it's horrifying. It's very bad show.

Also, I saw a rock or two that seemed to be broken. It was like a side of the rock was missing, showing a small metal box. This was opposite of the focus at the moment, so I don't think anyone else noticed it. It's no where near as bad as the other one, but still noticable.

Ride Issues

Wow! I leave tomorrow and I am actually alittle nervous to go on some of the rides. Maybe I'm over reacting:) But it seems like all the rides are having problems (More then normal). I know that every now and then a ride acts up. I don't know how many times I've been on HM and it's stopped. But the BTMRR probelm and the Splash Mt. problem kind of have me nervous to go on them.

When you have been on HM and it stopped this was because they stopped the ride so that someone in a wheelchair could get on the ride. As for the other things, don't worry. Have a good time.

We were at WDW for last week of August first week of September, we stayed at the WL, the cast members there all told us Space Mountain was going to be re-imagineered (like DL was) starting from next yr. so who knows!?! It certainly needs it! It incredibly rough and showing its age. They'll have to do it eventually! or it'll fall apart like DL's did!

Yeah, I know exactly what you're talking about. Our hippo pool is terrible right now--there's one that just stays up and there's some that don't move at all. We did get all the elephants into the elephant pool so it looks great there. Here's to hopin'--but Pirates needs it before we do, that's for sure.

Update

Had a wonderful time. Just pointing out things that were really noticable. Went to Epcot and MK today. I think someone reported this before but Monorail "Lime" no longer has blue on its stripe. Its just white. The walls are gone at The Land and in front of JIYI, exposing the jumping fountains and the upside-down waterfall. It was on but the fountains were not. They look great! Had no problems getting into World Showcase restaurants. Food & Wine Festival started with the preview today. Rode M:S for the first time ... EXHILARATING!! Saw the Kiss Goodnight at MK for the first time. Well worth the wait!!! I got goosebumps. :)

I'm just sayin what I observed. Don't crucify me. Seems like that happens a lot on here. No sense in reporting then.

A very romantic goodbye from WDW. Its about a minute long and has a nice goodnight message along with music and the castle changing colors. Occurs on SpectroMagic nights an hour after the park officially closes.

Thank you. Does this take place in front of the castle?

It's audible anywhere around the castle. There are no live performers, just a prerecorded music/narrative, with several different lighting changes on the castle itself.
