This isn't about Orlando, per se, but Kissimmee should be close enough.
We really enjoy that Pirates Island mini-golf in Kissimmee...the one right by Walmart and Medieval Times. It's become a tradition for me to play there every time I go. My and some friends made a spring break trip in 2000 and I played there for the first time, and then when my wife and I have gone in 2003-2005, we have played there each time. We played at Congo River Golf once and enjoyed it, but there's just something nostalgic for me now in playing at Pirates Island every time I go. Are there any mini-golfers here and if so, where do you like to play? I know there are several in Orlando itself, including, of course, the Disney ones. I just hope when we go next year to Disney, we'll have time to play at Pirates Island at least once...just for old times' sake.
