I stayed at CB in 2000, no mini-bar. Just go over to "the crossings" buy a disposable styrofoam cooler and fill it up with beer and drinks. Then throw it away when you check out.

Sorry, yeah I meant Crossroads (Goodings, McDoanlds, Uno's etc.) If you come out of Disney property and make a left instead of going across the road to Crossroads, there is a new Winn-Dixie that just opened about a 1/2 mile down the road on the right. We found this to be a hell of a lot cheaper than the Goodings in the "Crossroads".

We use publix. They are also a lot cheaper. Close to Aniamal Kingdom. We stop there in the beginning of the trip and buy water and soda. Take it in the parks and ask for ice when we are there.

We can take water and snacks in our backpack into the parks? I wasn't sure if they allowed outside food and drink. We're staying at AKL too, is Publix where we want to do our shopping when we're there?

You definately want to go there. It is near the gate that is close to AK. The prices are reasonable (as opposed to Goodings) and there are other stores around. Don't forget to buy the store made popcorn, it is SO good. Not as good as Disney but it 99 cents for 2 of the Disney bucket fulls.
