Milk at WDW

I noticed on most menus it says "1% milk" comes with kids meals at WDW restaurants. My kids drink whole milk still, per doctors orders. Does anyone know if whole milk is available at the parks? I would hate to have to bring a cooler with me everyday just for milk.

I have requested whole milk for my daughter a few times....most of the times they can accomidate at the nicer resturants.

Since full-fat milk is so unhealthy for the greatest percentage of kids, I doubt they have whole milk. I've never seen it in the parks.
I believe you can buy full-fat ultra pasterized milk in cartons that don't have to be kept cold. You could ask for a cup of ice if your kids like their milk cold. The cartons are small and very easy to carry. We use them because we only drink organic milk, and Horizons has the small cartons that have organic milk in them. If you aren't going to use them early in the day, you can even freeze them so they'll be cold when you are ready to drink them.
A tip, however, don't freeze them solid. They don't taste as good when thrawed from solid.

Yes whole milk is availible at MOST quick service restraunts. There are a few that do not offer whole milk, but there are places that do. My daughter is just about to turn 2 and we get whole milk for her everytime we are there and we go all the time.

I'll just thrown in my experience with milk at WDW has been:

1% (carton) and whole (bottle) at the parks, plus skim (carton) at the hotel. The cartons are usually 250ml, I think.

What I normally do is bring a small cooler with juice and a gallon of milk. I use the ice machine and fill it with ice each night and dumping the water. To heat up the bottles I just bring a bottle warmer. My kids have a hard time waiting for their milk in the morning. And at 6 am I don't think my neighbors will like me if I had to go heat it up somewhere.

We went twice while my DD was still on whole milk per Drs orders for low weight gain. I just switched down to 1% while at the parks because I figured it was just a week and wouldn't be so bad. Plus I didn't think Disney offered whole if it wasn't out at any of the quick services. I guess I should have asked.

The resorts also have 100% milk in the shops as well as both lowfat and whole in the food courts. Its readily available throughout the parks. I'm an adult and I also only drink whole milk if I drink milk at all -- and its available pretty much everywhere.

Every restaurant with a coffee pot can give you a coffee mug half full of the boiling hot water from the coffee maker to submerge your bottle in. That's what we always did with my son when he was still on breast milk and we pumped/bottled

Great. I know some restaurants won't do it, I assume for fear of burning someone with the hot water. Probably won't be too much of an issue as the the kids are getting used to cold milk now, and the weather will be hot anyway. Thanks for your input.

Yes, whole milk is available. I've noticed it comes in a bigger plastic bottle at some of the counter restaurants. You can also buy it in a 1/2 gallon size at some resorts for your room.

You can go to the baby care centers in each of the parks to heat up bottles.

Most places have whole milk. I can't (and by can't I do mean can't and not simple won't) drink any other milk so I always ask for whole and am always accommodated.

Warming bottles is actually a health code issue so you can either ask for a cup of hot water (don't have to say it is for the bottle) or go to baby care in each park.

My kids also had to drink whole milk too, still skinny things as young adults. At the resort I'd grab the then 2% and dump a couple real creams meant for coffee into the carton. I also let them drink the chocolate milk on vacation because it masked the taste of the 2% (ya they could tell).
