Our friend @Mike S will be coming to California soon to visit Disneyland and a few other places in the Golden State. Mike, you've been a real trooper with all the refurbs at the parks going on, and you've had a positive attitude the entire time. Here's to hoping your visit to our state is a fun and memorable one, and I also hope you have a great time at Disneyland and California Adventure, despite the closures!

Well this is unexpected. Thank you for making me feel welcome. I'll be starting my trip report thread later tonight before getting on the plane tomorrow. Hope you guys enjoy reading it :)

Also the closures of Matterhorn, Peter Pan, Soarin', GRR, and WoC are nowhere near enough to keep me away :cool:

Have fun. Take your time when you first walk into Disneyland and savor the prospect of all the history there and just your first few moments in a totally new Disney park. It's a very wonderful moment and you won't get it again for a while. :)

And THEN run off to Pirates or Indy or Fantasyland or whatever your first ride is. :)

First ride is definitely Indy. I've waited WAY too long for it :)
