Middle of June or Middle of July?

I'm planning on going to WDW during the summer, but I am not sure when I should go. I can't go during August due to school (unfortunately). I am planning to stay at Pop Century instead of All Star Movies because I have heard more positive stuff about Pop than All Star. I can't decide on if I should go in the middle of June or the middle of July. Both cost the same, so cost isn't a factor. What should I do?

Schools in the Northeast run thru to almost the end of June (heck - if it keeps snowing every other day school may run into July!). You *may* also find the parks a bit less crowded in June. And to echo Steve somewhat - July is REALLY hot and humid.

Yeah, I'm thinking June's weather will be more tolerable than July. As for NYwdwfan, I'm totally on the same boat as you! I'm hoping there aren't any more blizzards in the upcoming future.

I would definitely say June. As NYwdwfan said, up here in the northeast school runs to the end of June. Especially this year. I have been in both June and July and found the June crowd levels are a little lower. And I would definitely go with Pop :) The weather will be hot, but usually when those late afternoon 30 minute showers come through, it feels much better. Usually in summer months we do the parks in the am, nap/pool break in the afternoon, then back out to the parks in the pm :) have fun!

I too would vote for June, July would be terribly hot plus the afternoon showers everyday. Although you might get rained on in June, but it'll probably be cooler everyday

I found this nifty little weather comparison online (I love the internet):

Average Temperature: June 81.1 July 82.3
Relative Humidity AM: June 90% July 91%
Relative Humidity PM: June 57% July 59%
Days Above 90 degrees: June-19 days July-25 days
Rain (inches): June 7.3 July 7.3

They are mostly comparable - except that "days over 90 per month" there are WAY more in July.

Thanks for the information! June and July don't have that much of a difference.

June definitely. Rain is nothing to worry about. If it does rain, chances are that it will just be a quick thunderstorm. In this case, the sun will come back out just as quickly as it disappeared.

Hope this helps

remember when you get around the 4th of july wdw is almost as busy/crowded as it is at christmas. since (imo as an almost lifetime fl resident) it's really pretty much equally hot and humid i'd either do the beginning of june or the end of july to keep dates away from the weeks around the 4th.
