Mid-May or First week in June?

I've been mid-May and the crowds have been very low. Weather is starting to get hot but still managable, maybe some brief afternoon rain. I can't speak for June because I haven't been during that time but I suspect the crowds will be quite a bit larger with schools getting out, plus I'm sure a bit hotter also.

MAY! It gets even hotter in June and a lot more afternoon showers when the rainy season kicks in early June. Crowds are low because Fl schools are just getting out late May early June. We go late April depending on when Easter falls or mid May every year. Stay away from Easter! Have a great time!!

We were there the end of May this year and it was HOT. Crowds got heavier towards Memorial Day. We like the beginning to middle of May. Good weather and not too bad crowd levels.

Mid May for sure. Thats when we've gone the past 2 years.

Crowds were low to moderate at the end of the week (and at DHS on Star Wars weekends)

Not crazy hot - but still humid.

Been there the first week of June. Very humid. More crowds.

I would go with mid May. While not much- it's a tad cooler and the crowds should be much smaller. Most of the southern states get out of school at either the very end of May or the first week in June. So, with mid May you avoid any of those people doing end of the school year breaks. Plus you should just miss the Memorial Day crowds by going just before. I know most of the schools in our area that do Disney trips do them either to coincide with Memorial Day or just after the end of the school year at the very end of May...so another reason to push for mid May.

THANKS GUYS!! We were leaning more towards May because it seemed the weather and crowds were better. How bad are Star Tours Weekends? If we just avoid DHS will we be good?

We went April 30-May 8th this year and it was about 90 everyday and only a couple showers all week and they were only like 5-10 mins. I'd go early May again in a heartbeat!! Low crowds!!

Love May

Our last three visits have been from early to mid May and everything has been great. The crowds are minimal and the weather has been good. It was a little hot this past May but that doesn't bother us. You'll find that most of the Disney "guides" will tell you that this is a great time to go as well. Have fun!!

Definately mid-May. Heres why:

1) The kids are still in school.

2) The weather is warm, but not as hot as June

3) You can sometimes catch a deal in Mid-May. Whether its free food or discounted hotel prices, Disney normally is offering some nice deals this time of year.
