Hi all!
I just wanted to share an odd bit of news with you. I was watching the Disney channel before when i saw a commercial for Mickeys Twice Upon a Christmas. Strangely, it said it was premiering December 12th THIS YEAR! I just found this odd because most Direct to Video movies don't appear on TV for quite some time after the release, like a number of Disney movies have in the past.
Anyway, I thought some of you might want to know. Although I highly reccommend it, if you haven't yet, wait 'till December 12th to sewe if you like the movie before purchasing it!

Not to doubt you or anything, but are you sure it was Twice upon a Christmas, and not Once Upon a Christmas? I know I saw a commercial about a week ago for an upcoming showing of Once Upon a Christmas.

And it will be premiering on a Sunday night? Even weirder.

Oh no. Once Upon a Christmas was on. However, I also saw the ads for Twice Upon A Christmas. And for those that are thinking of buying it... TAPE IT!

Hmmm....that's odd. They just released it on DVD, why show it on TV already?

It is true though, at least according to the TV schedule. Just checked the Disney Channel TV schedule and Mickey's ONCE upon a Christmas is scheduled to air at 6:00pm on Sunday, December 12th, and then Mickey's TWICE upon a Christmas is scheduled to air at 8:00pm that same night.

Very strange. Can't figure this one out. Any incentive to buy it on DVD will be greatly diminished, don't you think?

Or it may raise sales. For the kids who watch the same movies over and over, seeing it once isn't enough. Maybe that was their reason.

I would watch it... but I just found out that the Survivor Finale is on then.

Looks like I'll have to tape it later.

I have come up with 2 new possibilities (Mind you, they are just speculation).

1- There was a surplus of DVD's/Videos. The people aren't buying and so they think if they can see it for free for a ONE TIME ONLY SHOWING as they specified on the commercial, they might decide "I'll never see it again on Disney Channel, and I really liked it, I'll Buy it!".

2- There weren't enough DVD's/Videos made to meet the High demand, so they are showing it so people stall buying it incase they don't like it, but in that time they make more videos/DVDs to meet the demand so when they decide they love it they can buy it.

Just Speculating :D .

I've come to my decision:

PLASTIC.

My thoughts exactly. I like the stories, but the CG makes all of the characters look like plastic toys. Plus, the movements aren't that great. I really miss 2-D. Why can't they just do more clever, innovative mixings of CG and 2-D?

Stuffed animal Stitch AA + plastic CG Mickey.

It's subliminal messaging to go out and buy toys!

Don't forget about the giant Plush-Looking Figment now out and around in Epcot and all the new Buzz Lightyear rides that have come out/are coming out/ in the past/next year and how Disneyland's castle is going to look like a Barbie Puertorican Prom Playset, I THINK THEY'RE TRYIN' TO TELL US SOMETHING!!!
