You do realize that both are heavily inspired by Fantasia, which also doesn't have a cohesive story line?

I'm saying that it's cool to have Donald traveling through all the Disney classics, yes, it's essentially Fantasia but Magic Kingdom does a lot of things in the show that are quite creative, like putting a focus on Donald and having him getting into trouble in each scene, in mostly hilarious effect.
