Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ?

If that's your biggest concern, then just bring the costumes with you to the park, change in the rest room, and leave your regular clothes in a locker. We did that last year only because we arrived at the park at 4pm and the party didn't start until 7pm. We even put on all our ghostly face makeup in the restroom. Check our our coordinated family costumes in my profile pictures! Getting to dress up was half the fun that night!

omg oh no let me tell you about walking through a lobby... in a costume would have been heaven. we went on the jet ski things in the lagoon from the gf but were staying at cbr that year so when we left we were still in our bathing suits and had to jump over to mk to catch a bus. well we're no spring chickens and were in soggy bathing suits and very windblown (but we were still wearing our tiara i kid you not)...well to get to the monorail we had to walk right through the lobby with all the very formal wearing wedding people including the bride and the bridal party. all black tie and evening gowns. believe me embrace the one time of year you can (as an adult) really be cinderella in the mk and bust out wearing that costume. if for not other reason you'll never be seen by these people again so go for it. we go early to mid october and dress up. i think the closer you get to halloween the more people ie adults dress up.

my fiance' and i will be attending the halloween party two nights the week of oct 12-21. We may wear some type of themed t-shirts that are sold online- I'll post the links below. I originally wanted to go as the dharma initiative but changed my mind after i thought of the heat. i figure if we just do tshirts, we will be comfortable and keep in with the halloween theme.

we did the same thing last year, mainly because we weren't staying over. we drove the 2 1/2 hours down and back on the same day just to do the party so it was just easier to do this type thing.

Thanks everyone for the replies. We are still torn. Half the group wants to dress the other half doesn't. We also don't want to feel out of place walking through the lobby to catch the monorail in costume LOL

thats the best bit everyone looking at you!! We walked through the lobby at the contemporary dressed as a jester and a zombie last year and people stopped and stared...I loved it!

I'm soooooo going to MNSSHP - don't know what date, though. I'm dressing up as Radio Disney pop artist Justin Bieber while Muetti dresses up as a guitar!

I was on the Spirit site, and am thinking about either getting a Snow White costume to match my niece, or being Malificent. Or my sister and I are both going at TMNT lol.
