Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party

Couple questions since my trip is coming up in October:

1) Is there anything that two 21 year olds (who love Disney, mind you) would get out of going to the Halloween Party?

Edit: After reading several reviews on AllEarsNet.com and via a boards search, I seem pretty convinced that this is fun for everyone, so I am definently going.

2) The Disney website says you can "dress as your favorite Disney character". But, is it limited to only that? Are you allowed to dress up as other things, too? (Specifically, I have a Ghostbusters costume I wanted to wear ... would they be ticked about that b/c of Universal or anything - and, no, I won't bring my pack hehe)

Thanks in advance!

We took our two young boys last year to MNSSHP, but I don't see why two adults would not have a great time on their own. I would be suprised if they would give you a hard time for any costume, unless it was gory, risque, or in some way in poor taste. The Party is a lot of fun. I say go for it.

A family I saw last year dressed up as the characters from Spongebob. Spongebob, Patrick, Sandy, and Mr. Krabs. I don't think that they'd have a problem with a ghost buster, unless you got on the Haunted Mansion.

We went for the first time last year, and going again this year, because we're hooked. The atomsphere is great, especially with the Headless Horseman leading the parade, not to mention the fact that the park stays open late, and on the right night you can pretty much just stay on the rides without getting off. The one minor dissapointment was they didn't do anything special with the Haunted Mansion, except for the giant Madame Leona crystal ball outside the movie promoting the movie. But definately well worth checking it out!

This event gets more and more popular it's scary. Ha! I made a funny . The first year I went, it was just me and my fiance, he was 22 I was 20. This past year it was me and my family, this year I don't care who's with me, I am going.

Oh and I saw lots and lots of non Disney character costumes.

So you're saying you wouldn't care if you took me to the Halloween party? Lol.
