Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party Tips

If you are planning on staying until the park closes AND the weather is clear, you can gamble on skipping the first parade and waiting until the last castle show. This will let you avoid most of the crowds. While the first parade is going on is a good time to do Splash Mountain and Big Thunder, as the parade route will temporarily cut off access to those rides for a lot of people.

You can free up a lot of time and avoid even more crowds if you are willing to skip the projection show and watch Hallowishes from Fantasyland. Just remember that there is only one Fireworks show and projection show per night.

Keep an eye on restaurant hours. A lot of food places will close long before the party ends, and you probably don't want to be stuck with cosmic ray's.

If you don't have kids with you and are staying on property, it might be fun to go for drinks before the party starts at one of the monorail resorts. Trader Sam's won't be open yet, but Tambu Longue will be. You probably won't be the only people pregaming in costume.

Unlike a normal operating day, the Emporium will not stay open after the official party ending time, so if you want party merchandise don't wait until the last minute.

this will be out 2nd party. first one we did was Oct 2 2014 and it was 96 degrees after the sun went down. sooooo stinking hot that my kids were sweltering in their storm trooper costumes. my suggestion for August and early september - light weight halloween clothing. myself - i'm bounding. same with the rest of the family.

If you want to meet Jack and Sally get in line EARLY. If you want to meet the Dwarves go straight there after Jack and Sally. Those are by far the most sought after pics and the lines can get insane for them. At the last party the Dwarves were back outside of the circus tent meet and greet area and Jack and Sally were in the little nook between Lliberty Square and Adventure Land. Both meet and greets are insanely fun and especially the Jack and Sally one.

Some do. Some don't. 7 dwarves do not. Jack and Sally give out signature cards if I remember.

I think the only ones that don't are,
Jack and Sally (but you can get cards)
7 Dwarves
hag from snow white
Buzz Light year (but he has a stamp)
Jafar
Lotso
any character at the dance party

and
Winnie the Pooh
Tigger
Piglet
Eeyore
at the meet and greet, though you can get those if you do the character meal at Crystal Palace.

I think those are the ones I recall not signing.
