When a event sells out are CMS still able to get tickets the same day as the event somehow? Wondered if there is some "secret way" of still being able to get tickets even though its sold out to the public...
Unfortunately no...we were short one ticket for our group for tomorrow night, and my wife wasn't able to get a ticket today and she's a CM....
This is a race weekend as well. Going to be a busy weekend at the World.
We went to this last night, had the tickets for well over a month and it was CRAZY crowded. Wished we'd pick a different night that wasn't so busy but we were told Disney sells a limited number of tickets to these events, I don't think Disney is being honest about not selling as many tickets though.... As season pass holders this was just a waste of money because of the crowds. We've been at Christmas and it wasn't as busy! Today we went to Epcot because Touring Plans rated it a 1.1 out of 10.... just not so, should have been rated at least an 8, 90 minute wait for Test Track and 30+ minute lines at the food carts. Just be aware you can't trust Touring Plans when they rate a park or Disney when they say they only sell so many tickets, plan accordingly! Again, as locals we can just go home but if you are on vacation these excessive crowds can really put a damper on your plans.
Wow it is a bad day when you can buy a car, complete the paperwork and drive off the lot quicker than riding test track. It seems like there are a lot of folks not happy with the "limited" crowds at NSSHP last night. Disney might want to do a bit more limiting.
We are the ones that will be doing the limiting....just not going again! When I think about paying over 100.00 (after paying a couple thousand) to stand in long lines for a little bit of candy, I feel really stupid.
I know that I willingly paid for and went to the party, so I cannot blame Disney for a good marketing job.
Maybe it's me, but outside of the parade I didn't find the place to be too crowded. I rode a good amount of attractions and the longest wait I had was 10 minutes for Haunted Mansion. The trick or treat lines weren't bad and moved extremely fast. Was my first party, but I thought that it was a good time.
I am not sure we will be going back either. The parks were extremely crowded. Candy lines had an average wait of 5-10 minutes, rides 10-20 minutes and characters where 30-40 minutes.
We also noticed less characters than in the past. All told we managed to see about 6 characters, 5 candy stops, and two rides. Along with the last parade and castle show.
We also arrived at 8pm and noticed that the park was still filled with regular guests. Maybe next time we just don't buy a ticket.
