Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Question

I've been to MNSSHP twice (got engaged there the second time!) and I would do it over and over again. I found that last year it was very crowded but mostly for the trick or treat stops and the parade. Rides were all walk on, even SM. The only bummer was that CoP was closed for the party. Lame! Why couldn't they close SGE??

Go to a party that is during the week because it tends to be less crowded than the weekend ones. Also, if it does get rained out and you do the party in the beginning of your stay and there is another party, get right on the line at town hall to exchange your tickets for another night. A few years ago that happened to us and I got on the line and exchanged them for Very Merry tixs since there wasn't another MNSSHP while we were there and we were coming back in December anyway, so it worked out.
