I have park hopper tickets in September, 14th-19th, and I have a question about this Halloween dealy. If I'm inside the park with my hopper pass, will i be asked to leave at 7pm??? Or am I understanding this all wrong. Seems like I need to spend almost 100$ more than I already have to stay in the park? Am I being ripped off?

For some reason I still feel butt-hurt. :(

We always go either during MNSSHP or MVMCP times every trip and you make due and visit MK on the days there is no party (parties are only on average 3 nights a week but a few have more) or you hop as already pointed out. We usually attend a party night though while there. Me and the hubby thoroughly enjoy them. ;)

Well, I'm taking a first timer and just hope i'll have time for everything. This is my first September trip though, we usually go in May. Hoping for somewhat less crowds. Especially all the field trips from local schools! lol

September most of the month is lower crowds. Not many schools do field trips that I'm aware and if they do it does not effect crowds much as I've never noticed anyone mentioning that. Lol But the week you will be there also is the first week of Food & Wine so don't be surprised especially at Epcot to see larger crowds. You will be fine just plan all your FP's and dining as I'm sure you did dining already etc. Hope you have a wonderful trip!! ;)

Thank you! I'm sure it'll be very magical as I am getting married there. But in May, there were TONS of field trips. Lol. Huge groups of what seemed like millions of children in the same colored shirts in every park. Fun to be in line behind two of them , only to have their 40 classmates cut in front. Ugh. Maybe I am just a scrooge

Congratulations on the marriage. Regarding the line cutters, youre no scrooge. But you have to speak up for yourself. I bring it to the attention of the CM's and they (for the most part) make them go back. Theres no spot in line saving for large groups. They try to get away with it all over and its not right. If they cant be there waiting in line, they cant shove themselves in when a friend gets near the front.

You won't ever be "asked to leave" but you won't be able to do any of the rides.

Yes on party nights they do ask people to leave nicely if you don't have a party wristband. Now for EMH nights for non resort guests no they don't ask folks to leave and just can't ride rides etc, but for the parties I have seen them usher many to the front. ;)

I've been to the party several times and never witnessed this. I'm not saying it never happens, but I don't think they are that serious about it because they want you to shop, even if you're not part of the party.

You can't buy party merchandise without a wristband either but yeah I'm sure you can buy regular merchandise. I have seen them many times looking for wristbands etc and ushering out being they do have special entertainment only at the parties etc. Basically they are much more strict with this on party nights. If they see you lining up for one of the parades etc it happens more than yes in the store I'm sure. We have been to many too and usually see this at least once or twice at each one. ;)

Been there last year and the year before.

Party guests will start to show up in their costumes starting at 4 (in fact, I'd wager that most party guests are in the park by 6), so if you want a taste of the party atmosphere, hang out then. Just be aware that the 3 overlap hours get very crowded, so don't plan on doing any e-tickets as walk-ons.

After 7, and continuing to around 9, expect to see picket lines of cast members forming up across the major walkways of Frontierland, Tomorrowland, and Adventureland, asking all guests to display their party armbands. Anyone caught without them are "encouraged" to leave the park. Band checks at the entrance to all attractions continues throughout the party.

Yes, they are serious about it. We had a family sitting next to us waiting for the parade without wrist bands. When the CMs came by and asked everyone to show theirs, the family tried to tell them that another CM said it was OK to stay for the parade. They were told right then and there, that under no circumstances would a CM tell them that, and they had to leave immediately. When they balked, a few security CMs came over and escorted them out. Since that particular night wasn't sold out, they were given the option of buying tickets, but they declined. Every one of the CMs was nothing but professional and courteous, but they were firm in that you cannot stay if you haven't purchased a ticket. We saw them being escorted out as we were right near the train station.

Haha, that's awesome...good to hear. I think they should be thrown out. I've just never seen it (I've always been a part of the party). If I'm not, I know to leave.

Yeah, like I said, I've been to it several times and the Christmas party too. I saw so many people with no wristband and they are just wandering around well past time to leave. I think it really depends on the cast members there.

Then why should I pay $105 for Halloween night if I can hang out and do all the things at the party without paying? Seriously. All the recommendations I've read about doing the parties is skipping the rides. If I can hang out, I've been wasting money the past several years. I respectfully suggest that you are incorrect on this one. CMs will definitely point you toward the exit.

No, its policy.

I've had to pass through two CM chain checkpoint lines in the hub to access the lands. No band, no entry.

We also witnessed a sweep down MSUSA from hub to Town Square before the first of the night Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. A chain of CMs came down the street - and parallelled inside the stores - checking all wrists. Those without were asked to leave.
