This is based off of Deno's Wonder Wheel in Coney Island. I rode it last summer in the stationary car. I would never do the swinging. The thing that made this scary was the height, the claustrophobia of being caged, and the motion of the car. Even the stationary cars rocked even though not sliding on a track. Plus we were stopped at the top for a good 20 min and had to come up with some interesting conversation to take our minds off the fact that we had no control over when it would move again.

I rode for the first time on Wednesday and I was terrified to go on. But, it didn't end up being that scary for me. More relaxing than terrifying.

It's a pretty bizarre ride. It's surreal to view it from across the little pond and hear all the screaming as the buckets swing back and forth. If you close your eyes, it sounds like the ending of Titanic when all the people are falling off the ship, only it's a ferris wheel at Disneyland.

I will only go on the stationary gondolas, and I love it. The view is awesome!

I'll do the stationary gondolas, but not the swinging ones. Yet I rode PrimeEvil at DAK, no problems. Go figure!

This was the same reaction @realBobChapek had the very first time he rode it. Hence the reason why he changed the name...
And yet the effect is still the same.
