Mickey Waffles Questions....

I love Mickey waffles, but the only place I've ever eaten them is at character breakfast buffets.

So, I have two questions:

1) Do they serve them at the non-buffet (ie, family style) character breakfasts like O'hana and Cinderella's Royal Table?

2) Do they serve them at any breakfasts that do not feature characters, like Boma, or any other breakfast place?

TIA!

They are served at O'Hana. Not at Cindy's.

My memory is hazy on Boma. I think they have them there, but I wouldn't swear to it.

You can check out the menus in the dining section. It should indicate whether or not Mickey waffles are available.

Our kids were able to get Mickey waffles at the counter-service breakfast at the Caribbean Beach Resort this past October.

They are available at counter service at POR but its a large Mickey waffle not the smaller version you get at Ohana or Cape May Cafe, you only get one . In my opinion the smaller ones are better

We make Mickey waffles at home using our Mickey waffle maker.
It came from the Disney store on line, I think.

:)

Are they the same as the ones one property? If so, I am so jealous.

They had a Mickey Waffle Iron at the Disney Store website for a long time. But I never bought the one I'm thinking of because 1) it was different from the ones at WDW and 2) There was a earning that it was linked to cancer!

Here's a link to a recall from 2007 on another Mickey Waffle Maker:

If I can ever find a good (non-cancer-causing/non-flamable) Mickey waffle iron, I'm all over it!

POR also has the smaller (better) ones. If you order the waffle plate (or whatever it's called) you get the big one. If you get the bounty platter, it comes with small ones.

A part of the trip

It's almost illegal if you don't have a Mickey Waffle while in Disney!

Unless you're dining on Tonga Toast instead... :slurp:

Thanks for the replies, everyone. We got our Mickey waffles at Donald's Safari Breakfast on this trip this past Sunday. Yummy as always!
