Lol @cw1982 -- I'm glad someone's in this boat with me. It's sad that this is one of my biggest pre-trip worries--finding and/or having time to find all the snacks I want to eat. But I will have the pretzels, that much I know! And the Dole whips and the caramel and the nachos and and and...

Let's see... my list includes:

Mickey Waffle
Mickey Pretzel
Mickey Ice Cream (seeing a theme... lol)
Flatbread pizza at Pinocchio's Village Haus
Fried Pickles at SciFi (I know... but what can I say? I love the versions I can get here at home, so I'm curious!)
The orange sherbet margarita at Rainforest Cafe
The alcoholic frozen lemonade at WS (I think it's near the USA pavilion... need to double check)

Sounds doable, until we factor in how little I can eat at a time and the fact that we have dinner plans pretty much every night... lol!

Oh yeah... DH wants a turkey leg. I'll probably sample it ;)

@cw1982 , your list is admirable and very similar to mine, minus the fried pickles and alcoholic beverages. If I have even one stiff drink I'm hungover and useless for 24 hours. It's going to be a real test spending evening EMH at Epcot with my brother next Friday while he drinks like a fish right next to me.

I also need to eat magic bars at the BC, everything from Boardwalk Bakery and the caramel store in Germany, a Mickey ice cream sandwich, fried shrimp from Columbia Harbour House, maybe some school bread even though there's really nothing about it that appeals to me, and other things I'm forgetting but are built into my itinerary.

Mickey ice cream sandwich?!? I hadn't heard of this... lol!

Yeah I definitely won't be drinking much at a time, as I'm definitely a light weight; however, thanks to my weight loss surgery, alcohol goes through me pretty quickly, and (I guess because of that) I don't really get hangovers. But I do want to try a few things, because after this trip I will (hopefully) not be able to drink for a year or so, depending on how long it takes for certain other things to fall into place ;)

The fried shrimp sounds great too! I may have to try that!

My list includes: cupcakes, cupcakes, cupcakes (I LOVE cupcakes at WDW!), popcorn in a dumbo bin, fresh cotton candy from the Confectionary, a mickey pretzel (now that I know those exist), mickey ice cream bar (x 4 probably), funnel cake, creme brulee in Canada, a mickey rice krispie treat dipped in chocolate, probably 1 frozen lemonade a day (on days I don't have the ice cream bar...or maybe even if I have the ice cream bar?? who knows!). This is all I can think of right now. I'm sure there's more!

Ok, fine. Now I will definitely HAVE to go there next weekend and buy one just to prove it to you. Thanks for twisting my arm! I'll really prove it to you and buy 2...or 3! Yeah, that'll do it. ;)

Now that I've seen the pic above- they're not MM pretzels after all. They're just regular ones. But I'm sure they taste close to the magical version, and might just cost a little less. My bad!

No worries. I'll be there the weekend of the 17th to check it out. :D

Ridiculous that I'm fixated on fried shrimp. I can get fried shrimp at like 8 places in a 5-block radius of my house. But I want THOSE shrimp!

You drink up! Even if things "fall into place" ;) quickly, you won't have the time or energy to kick back and enjoy a drink for a good long while. My son turns 5 in August and I haven't been able to relax since then, nor do I see relaxing anytime soon in my future :hilarious:.

Lol... if they're THAT good, then I may need to be sure we work that in somehow.

Oh, and I'm fully aware of how little energy and time I will have once "things" start happening haha... but clearly that part of my post served its purpose seeing as how you immediately knew where I was going with that lol

I'm so stinking ready for my trip, it's not even cute! I'm super jealous that you're going before I am!

I've been on this forum like its my second job since January 8th :bookworm:; I know what you're planning ;).

Don't be jealous. 12 nights from now, I'll be getting home from my trip and you'll still have yours to look forward to! But I'll crawl out of my depression to let you know if the shrimp are worth your time. And if I waited in 4-hour long Fastpass lines.

Bahaha! Fair enough :)

I'll be sure to help alleviate some of your depression by allowing you to vicariously relive the mickey pretzels and ice cream sandwiches through me ;)
