Mickey Mouse E Ticket Ride

I've always found it odd that the mouse behind it all doesn't have an E ticket attraction. The Mickey Mouse Revue was really the only attraction that featured Mickey to an extent and Philharmagic is the only current attraction that has a decent representation.

An E ticket ride ( notice I didn't say 3d or 4d) where we travel throughout the history of every Mickey Mouse animated shorts would be fantastic and would be a welcome addition to DHS or MK.

What I find odd is that with the popularity of mickey mouse clubhouse that they havent created a mini-land with that. or at least a playground with slides and interactive things for toddlers to do. To me it seems like a no-brainer, but I dont work for Disney.

I dont think the show over at DHS is enough... Afterall it all started with a mouse right?

The earliest plans for the Fantasyland expansion included a state-of-the-art E-ticket starring Mickey called "Cartoon Corners". Other than the name and the fact that the concept called for a really high-tech ride (not a coaster), I don't know much about it. It's too bad that when Disney hit the reset button on FLE that this didn't get reinstated in the plans, like the Seven Dwarfs' Mine did.

Wizard, I haven't been agreeing with your posts lately, but with this one, I'm (kind of) on your side.

I mean, I give the guy props for creativity, 'cause like the Imagineering motto: There's no such thing as a bad idea. But since it'd be a Mickey attraction, it'd need to be a ride for ALL ages, and Forbidden Journey's system is not for everyone. It terrified me, and I'm 21!

But that system would just work SO much better in an Aladdin attraction.

It would be awesome in an Aladdin attraction but KUKA is exclusive at Universal until 2017(ish). My main point for being exasperated with the Forbidden Journey reference is because I feel like we can't go four posts in any conversation about a potential new attraction without someone bringing up WWoHP in some way.

Yeah, I knew about Universal's exclusivity with the KUKA system, but when the day comes for Disney to be able to utilize that technology, and sprinkle on a few Disney touches to it, it'll be a great story telling tool; just not for a Mickey ride. :king:

But, I agree about the WWoHP thing. It's referenced to, WAY to frequently. It's as if we are just openly admitting they beat us. :lookaroun

I still think a ride should be built around Epic Mickey!

BTW, there's a rumor going around that Disney is thinking about making a full-length Mickey Mouse feature film. OH, I hope that's true...

Isn't Mickey the main character at the Hollywood Studios show? That should be enough. Unless the other attraction, One Man's Dream, could be enough Mickey for you...

I really hope they do it and they had better do it right. None of that computer-generated nonsense from Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.

Well, here are my thoughts about that...I think that in the beginning of a Mickey Mouse film, especially if it were based on the game "Epic Mickey", there could be CGI - you know, representing modern Mickey. Maybe he could even interact with real humans (but he'd be small - endearingly small, the size of the AA in the old Mickey Mouse Review attraction). Then, when Mickey gets sucked into the Wasteland, he becomes 2D, because he's in Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's world then, and Oswald's always been 2D. Mickey also gets his classic look back, and the film would proceed from there...
