Mickey Mouse / Disney Personalized License Plate Ideas

Hello all,

I'm a Disney fanatic, especially Mickey Mouse.

I just bought a new car this weekend, and transferred the old plate. I was disappointed to see the old ugly plate on a new shiny car, so I figured what a perfect time to get a personalized plate with a Disney twist!

What I wanted was MINGAMOU (what our daughter called Mickey and Minnie when she was very small), but it's too many letters. Obviously the very basic ones are taken; Mickey, Disney, etc.

So I figured I'd poll the brilliant minds here to see if anyone could spark up an idea. I also thought it would be fun to see what kind of ideas people came up with.

I'm in PA, so if you're thinking of doing this yourself, don't let me steal your idea if you came up with one already.

I'm not sure the character limit on tags in PA, but here in GA its a total of 8 characters including spaces. So with that in mind you could do abbreviations.

MKY MOUS
MINI MSE
DNLD DK
DIS WRL
LUV WDW
etc....

You can get creative as you like, the abbreviations can be as cryptic as you like, as long as you know what they say thats all that matters.

Also remember, you can use a zero to replace an o, or a one to replace an i or l. And sometimes even us a three to replace and e.

So MICKEY could be M1CK3Y. MOUSE becomes M0US3. Stuff like that. Dropping a few vowels as the PP said also helps to find new things.

The always classic DM BGGY, stuff like that. Or, try to find a photo walk through of the queue for Roger Rabbit Spin out in DL. Lots of license plates in there with Disney sayings, some may work in your state.

I always see on the road daily of a Disney fan who has the license plate of DNSY 03.

My mother had DSYNKD, DSNYKDZ
One of my current vehicles is EPCOT1 and my other is SIMBA1(after the safari ride at AK)

if I did it, I would do something a little more cryptic. Not to the point that people are going HUH?! But not as obvious as "mickey"

I went through a similar process coming up with my gamertag for xbox. I wanted something that would express my disney love without being obvious or child-like. My gamertag is wdwSIR84 SIR was over at AE before it perished(was murdered).


Ive been thinking of getting a plate, too, the next time I'm back in FL(we are military so we can retain plates from or resident states while stationed elsewhere). When we get down there again, I'm getting a handicap plate. What better time to swap out to something fun!
