Mickey Monitor - Haunted Mansion Update

I apologize ahead of time if this has already been posted. I just found the newest Mickey Monitor (or atleast I think it's the newest, because I haven't read it yet) on the kitchen counter and was angry at my dad for not showing me. :brick:

When The Haunted Mansion reopens this fall, you'll notice that strange things occurred. "We increased the feeling of presence and movement between Guests and Ghosts," said Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Show Producer Kathy Rogers.

Digital audio will give our old pal the Ghost Host the power to hop around in the stretch room, and to dart back and forth on your "doom buggy." In the gallery, a lightning storm will cause the portraits to become more and more ghostly!

Even disembodied medium Madame Leota's had a face-life--literally. Her crystal ball will float in midair! In the attick, look for an extra-creepy bride with a string of grooms, all pictured before her. Each undergoes a change as the bouquet in her hand changes to an... well, we just can't give it all away!

The Mickey Monitor article was cool because I didn't know they were adding lightning effects to the gallery to make the pictures turn "more and more ghostly."

This sounds like what they have in Disneyland. But I wonder if the paintings will still have the eyes that follow you.

Its very amusing how they keep trying to hide spoilers in there when we Disney fans know perfectly well what happens based off of DL's rehab. :lol:

Her bouquet changes to an axe! Duh! Don't think we don't know a thing about DL's version. :lol:

Priceless! Now, if it shot nerf balls, it would be even funnier! I heard via rumors it is supposed to be better than the DL bride version.... Wonder how they will improve on it...

The great thing is the ride is going to be rejuvenated in old parts but not too much so that its a completely different ride.

I'm hearing it will have similar scenes but with upgrades (like Leota and the bride). Plus, they are adding a few new ghosts and a possible staircase (though I have not heard a confirmed report on that one). Hopefully, Disney will add a few surprises along the way!!!

Think of it this way, more ghosts are coming out into the public areas of the Mansion. When the ride closed, there was only about 400 or so, not sure where that list is, that actually show up or make their presence known.
