A friend of mine heard a while back from a former CM, that each morning when Mickey comes out of his house, he takes one child and gives that child a personal tour of his home....has anybody ever heard of this? Is it true?

he use to. I'm not so sure he does anymore. Goofy regularly selects a child to ride his roller coaster. but that is also not a guaranteed thing.

Do you happen to know about what time they come out? We are going for my son's birthday and I bet he be thrilled by just seeing them come out.

I've never been so lucky as to have a personal tour with Mickey, but last year we went to Toon Town during Wishes at the MVMCP and were the only ones in the Town Hall tent. My daughter got to spend a full 30 minutes with Mickey all by herself. She was walking 3 feet off the ground when we left the park that night.

Since Toontown opens at a different time than the rest of the park (usually an hour after park open), Toontown does its own Rope Drop. So, on most days, when the Magic Kingdom opens at 9, Toontown (with the characters coming out to greet the guests) opens at 10.
